     James HEATON immigrated circa 1638 to New Haven, Conn. He was a witness given Liberty to take in a field of the towns Land on the the east side the fresh meadow near the Littell plain to Rais Corn. The town granted (Samuel and others) them Liberty to fenc in about 40 acres of said Land for seven years and then the Land to be at the towns dispose they to fend said Land with the wood that groweth upon it with Samuel TODD on 28 December 1696 at New Haven, Conn.⁴
